CBO is a holding company and project structure founded in 2015. CBO forms the framework for the entrepreneurial activities of the owner and managing director Andreas Gebhard.

Plain Schwarz

We are Plain Schwarz. We organize events for and with open source communities, acting as non-code contributors to open source projects of all kinds.

Originating from the events department of newthinking communications, we bring in 15 years of experience. We are here to work with those committed to the goal of an open and free society, based on open source knowledge and resources.

We take on event management, community management, event conception, public relations and program coordination.

FOSS Backstage

The two day conference is dedicated to everything related to FOSS governance and open collaboration.

FOSS Backstage provides a space to discuss a broad spectrum of issues related to community management, vendor neutrality and leading projects without discretionary power. Conference topics will include open source project leadership best practices, community management, open source project metrics, open source strategy for enterprise, adopting open source collaboration in corporations, legal matters when dealing with open source and many more.

With a focus on decentralised decision making and open collaboration FOSS Backstage will be a great place for: developers, architects, sysadmins, community leaders, students and anyone interested in building and managing communities within the open source space, to get together and exchange ideas.

Berlin Buzzwords

Berlin Buzzwords is Europe’s leading conference for modern data infrastructure, search and machine learning. You’ll find all the buzzwords, presented by leading experts, demystifying and educating an international audience on a range of modern industry trends. It provides a platform for developers, engineers, IT architects, analysts and data scientists who are interested in information retrieval, the searchability of large amounts of data and big data processing. Berlin Buzzwords will take place again on June 9th – 11th, 2024 at Kulturbrauerei Berlin.

The conference is focused on open source software projects in the field of data analysis, machine learning, scalability, storage and searchability. CBO Projekt UG

CBO Projekt UG is a 100% subsidiary of Creator Broker Owner GmbH. Its main purpose is to develop new projects until ready for the market. Currently, Baker Berlin and Female Football Academy are managed under the CBO Projekt UG umbrella.

Female Football Academy

Die Zeit ist reif für neue Konzepte für Frauen im Fußball: Wir sprechen darüber!

Mehr als 50 Jahre nach der Legalisierung des Frauenfußballs durch den Deutschen Fußball-Bund ist die Zahl der in Deutschland aktiven Fußballerinnen seit 2010 rückläufig. Nur etwa zehn bis zwölf Prozent der aktiven Fußballer:innen sind Frauen oder Mädchen. Weder bekommt der Mädchen- und Fraunenfußball die gesellschaftliche Anerkennung, die er verdient, noch ist das Interesse groß genug, um seine Professionalisierung durch wirtschaftliche Investitionen voranzutreiben.

Die Female Football Academy möchte das ändern und Impulse setzen für einen zeitgemäßen Umgang und neue Konzepte für das Thema Frauenfußball.

re:publica

Founded in 2007 by Andreas Gebhard, Markus Beckedahl, Johnny and Tanja Häusler, re:publica soon became the most relevant digital society festival in Europe.

The next edition of re:publica will take place place from 27-29 May 2024 at STATION Berlin.
